Clinoptilolite is one of the most widely used natural zeolite types in industrial applications, owing to its high cation-exchange capacity, porous crystal structure, and chemical stability. In industrial production, it is primarily evaluated in environmental technologies such as water and wastewater treatment, heavy metal and ammonium removal, gas purification, and odor control. Additionally, it finds broad application in livestock farming as a feed additive, bedding, and odor absorber; and in agriculture as a soil conditioner, fertilizer carrier, and moisture stabilizer. In the construction sector, it is used as a lightweight aggregate and thermal/sound insulation material, while in the chemical and petrochemical fields, it serves as a catalyst support and molecular sieve. Its natural, non-toxic, and reusable nature makes clinoptilolite a strategic raw material for sustainable industrial processes.
